TipFly

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 8, 2026

Who we are

TipFly is a cashless tipping service for restaurant staff. Operated by Resivo LLC, Azerbaijan.

What we collect from waiters

Phone number (for login verification), full name, and tip / payout transaction history.

Payout card details are handled via the payment provider — our systems store only a masked card number (e.g. •• 4242) and the provider’s technical reference, never the full card number.

We do not collect push notification tokens.

What we collect from guests (people who tip)

Guests have no account and we collect no personal identity. Payments are processed by a licensed payment processor (CIB Pay) — card numbers never reach and are never stored on our systems.

An optional star rating and comment are stored anonymously.

What we collect from restaurant managers

Email address and name — for access to the management panel.

Technical data

IP addresses are processed briefly for abuse prevention (rate limiting) and operational logs.

The app contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs; it communicates only with our own servers.

Data is hosted on Railway cloud infrastructure.

Why we process data

To provide the tipping service, execute payouts, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

Sharing with third parties

Only with the payment processor, to execute payments. Nothing is shared with or sold to anyone else.

Retention and deletion

Financial records (tip and payout transactions) are retained for the period required by law. When an account is deleted, personal data (name, phone, card details) is removed and transaction records are anonymized.

You can delete your account in the app (Account → Delete account) or from this page:

Security

All communication is encrypted with HTTPS. Credentials are kept in encrypted storage on the device and stored as hashes on the server.
